| Talent Clearing House, Inc. (TCH) was formed in 2001
when our founder, Paul Barretta, combined his experience in
corporate finance within the Media and Entertainment Industry and
Commercial Banking. He envisioned a company powered by a
streamlined, automated process to provide third party services to
companies across the industry required to administer and initiate
payments to talent; music, program and merchandise licensors; equity
participants, and other similar payments.
Initial market research and product development pointed toward
independent record labels as the group within the industry that
would benefit most from initial use of our services. Initial
versions of the system were developed and test marketed on a few
customers. The feedback was excellent, and those test
customers are still using our services today. Furthermore, the
systems powering our services were enhanced, thanks to the feedback
of those initial customers.
The design of our proprietary system empowers our third party
service to bring the best of both worlds to companies of all sizes.
By streamlining several steps in the process, including the use of
electronic payment files and report output, we enable customers to
reduce their administrative costs by enjoying the benefits of scale
